St. James members believe that
fellowship is necessary for all ages. At St.
James, each member is a vital part of our family and
opportunities for fellowship abound. Numerous activities
are available for all ages.

is important in our lives as God's people.

Our
Fellowship Groups
are
- Koinonia is a group of middle-aged
singles and couples. They meet monthly and participate
in numerous activities. Some examples include game
night, potluck meals, and singing Christmas carols to
shut-ins.
- Singles/Young Families
is not currently meeting.
- Youth Fellowship
groups are divided
according to age. There are activities for grades 1-3;
grades 4-6; middle school and high school. The leaders
plan activities with the parents and /or members of the
group. Youth group activities are announced via the
newsletter,
Church bulletins and in the youth newsletter.
- Volleyball
meets in the Fellowship Hall
(gym) on Mondays at 7:00 pm during the winter months.
Everyone is invited to play.
- The St.
James Softball team plays in the summer. The St.
James team is co-ed and all are invited to play.
- Men's Breakfast meets on Wednesday
mornings at 7:00 am. A devotional bible study of the
week's lessons are discussed.
- Preparation of the Altar
(Altar Guild)
meets monthly. The members take turns setting up the
Altar for communion.
- Women's
circles, include Love Circle and Hope Circle, meet
monthly for Bible study and fellowship.
Our Service Opportunities include
- assisting with Community Kitchen
meals
- delivering Meals on Wheels
- furnish prizes for Bingo games at Good Shepherd Long
Term Living Facility
- nursery care for young children
- provide sponsorships for youth and mission-minded
members
- distribute communion to members unable to attend church
services
