St. James has the following boards:

The Board of Deacons keeps good order during worship, making sure there are ushers and worship assistants for each service.

The Board of Education is in charge of the Education Ministries at St. James. Check out the Education Page on our website for more information about their programs.

The Board of Congregational Life promotes a climate that encourages the sharing of Christ with one another.  This includes the welcoming new members and fellowship events.  The board is also responsible for the coordination of community activities with members of this congregation.

The Board of Memorials gives advice and assistance to the Pastors, Congregation Council, and donors for the proper receipt and dispersing of memorial funds and gifts.  The board also promotes ways in which members and friends may make gifts.

The Board of Stewardship initiates and maintains programs for the development of good stewardship attitudes of the members in regard to time, talents, and treasures in order to strive for financial stability.  The board also assists in planning for any capital improvements and is responsible for related fund raising.

The Board of Trustees takes care of the building and grounds of the congregation.

The Women of the ELCA includes all confirmed women of this congregation.  These women, being created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, are committed to grow in faith, affirm their gifts, and support one another in their callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

The Board of Worship and Music assists in planning worship and worship-related events in the congregation.
